THURSDAY 3RD
Kicking In Danger are a 5 piece rock band from Melbourne, Australia.

The band was formed by brothers Dan and Trav in early 2004. With Dan's powerful, natural stage presence and infectious vocal melodies and Trav's strong song-writing ability, chord knowledge and artistic flair, the pair began writing many songs together and searching for new members to complete the line up. Pete Cox was the the first to join the band and has provided the drums and percussion that have become critical to the backbone of the band's sound.

Brad and Elle had been in Bands together in the past that did not really get anywhere, Jorja and Brett were also in Bands that didn't get very far.
Brad Jorja and Elle had been talking for months about starting a band but it wouldn't work with Jorja and Elle Living in the city and Brad Living in a shitty country town that was on the verge of being a truck stop.
So in August 2009 Brad moved up to the city and found a house with Elle, Jorja said she had a mate 'Brett' who wanted to have a jam with her so she asked Brett to come play with us on our first band prac night.
We had some Beers, got down a couple of songs, and from that night the Dixon Cider Line-up was formed.
It took a couple of weeks to figure out a name we could all agree on, one of the alternates were "Dixon Pussies", and Brett said that "Dicken Cider" would be cool. The rest of us did'nt really like it But then we tweeked it and One of us said "How bout Dixon Cider" and from then on out that is what we would be known as. (Even though it took Jorja about a month to get it).
After a couple of months we decided we were set for our first gig, which we got at The Noisebar opening for a mates band who needed a spot filled. and ever since then we have been gigging a fair bit around Melbourne.

About Alysia Manceau
I am currently working on pre-production for a special recording to be released late 2010 with a mystery genius producer! I am also putting together a band so if anyone is interested in joining and sings/plays organ, double bass, violin, accordion, drums or 60's psych guitar then please give me a holler. Also i'd like to say a special thanks to artiste Olle Holmberg for all his beautiful photographs featured on my page.

Arriving on the scene in late 2009, The Buegs have enthrawled and enchanted audiences with their powerful yet delicate odes to life as we know it. In an unlikely departure from his unique style of hiphop, front man Dan Ryan (Tapegun) leads his band mates Stu Findlay and James and Paul Ryan on a musical adventure from soul to folk to funk and back again. The Buegs are firmly cementing their reputation as highly skilled, multi instrumentalsits having supported such acts as Canos and Pete Sounds (Dallas Crane). Packed shows at the John Curtain Bandroom and the Northcote Social Club in recent months have been among some of the highlight performances by this band of brothers. 2010 is set to see the Buegs quickly become one of Melbourne's favorite local quartets. Be sure to watch this space; the Buegs will be releasing their debut ep and announcing tour dates soon.

'SUNDAY SETS' - SUNDAY 6TH
Gypsy / hip hop / vaudevillian / Alternative
GOYIM SHAZAM (RAPSKALLION TRIO) GOYIM, SHAZAM (RAPSKALLION TRIO).
SUNDAY 6TH
performing together since 8/2006.... if you see us playing on the street have a dance and give us some money or we'll camp in your front yard.... available for weddings, parties and circumcisions.....
Goyim covers a range of Gypsy and Klezmer styles (comprising dance and celebration music) from across eastern Europe and the middle east, creating a touch of that burlesque cabaret Balkans brass band appeal, all the while getting an infectious high energy village street sound found among the Gypsy's. Esther's use of intricate and frantic rhythms on the fiddle create a sense of urgency while making full use of the catchy melodies and tones. Her vocals are authentic, rich and strong. Paul's percussive attack and gypsy slap technique makes full use of his instrument and creates a solid back drop. Goyim started working as a duo august 2006 as continuation of the disbanded Klezmer outfit "The Promised Band".

Straight out of Brunswick's bohemia come Rapskallion dressed in their decrepit finery, singing songs of the open road, blue stone alleyways, fruit falling from the trees and the seven seas, Rapskallion, reminiscent of 20's Paris Bohemia transported to a Romanian tavern and then set adrift on the high seas. The Skallions defy explanation with a glint in their eye and a dagger in their teeth. Add a pinch of hip hop, vaudevillian sensibilities, a curly moustache and a startling array of hats, Rapskallion will inspire with their mix of quirky lyrics and rustic, rowdy and romantic accordion driven dance tunes!

DOUBLEBLACK THE YARD APES THE YARD APES DOUBLEBLACK, THE YARD APES,
ADRIAN WHYTE (The Vaudevillians),
+ SPECIAL GUESTS.
SATURDAY 12TH
Come on now, do we have to do this? OK then, DOUBLEBLACK is a loud, progessive psychobilly trio formed by MATT BLACK (ex Fireballs, Fez Perez) MARLON YOUNG-HEALY, and JASON SKEWES. It's Raw, it's honest, it's white-knuckled rock'n'roll, loud hip shakin', psychobilly dipped in batter and fried with a blowtorch. Australian style barbequed riffage delivered with a smile and a sneer. MATT BLACK (Guitar, lead vocals) has taken the punky metallic sound pioneered in his time as a founder member of the Fireballs and taken it to another level again, with adventurous songwriting and a fat backbeat which chills and thrills. JASON SKEWES (Double Bass stylee, vocals) has spent much time slapping bass with many Melbourne based bands and has developed a style that is both musical and muscular.

THE YARD APES:Fresh from touring the east coast and releasing a split 7", The Yard Apes are ready to bring their brand of reverb saturated trashabilly, swamp and surf to Rumble at the Bendigo. Formed in the backwoods of Ballarat and debuting in October of last year, the Apes have so far played with a diverse range of bands such as Bob Log III, Midnight Woolf and The Rumjacks and are ready to make a big impact in 2010 with their debut album on it's way soon.

ADRIAN WHYTE (The Vaudevillians) I am a musician with a passion for guitars and all sorts of styles from blues to psychobilly. I will attempt to play anything and if i cant play it i will learn it. I teach guitar at Billy Hydes and Glenroy Music and I have completed an advanced diploma in music. None of that matters though, pretty soon ill have some more tracks up to give you an idea of what I do best! You can also checkout the band I sing and guitar for, the Vaudevillains. To date I have written each song as well. We are having a ball ripping it up in Melbourne and have supported every psychobilly band thats come to Melbourne since we started hitting the scene.

CAROLYN BRYERS SHE SAID THE NYMPHS MISSING SUPERGIRL CAROLYN BRYERS,
SHE SAID,
THE NYMPHS,
MISSING SUPERGIRL.
SUNDAY 20TH
What happens when you put two VERY different seasoned songwriting musicians together in a room and lock the door? You end up with a very interesting series of events and conversations including: "... you're always saying things that make me want to kill you!" and yes... that's really what SHE SAID! Kerryn Vaughan and Melissa Pollard are both well-known for their songwriting and live performances and have been gigging separately for many years. What brought them together can only be described as fate. Call it amazing, call it cruel - but one thing is for sure - it will never be called boring. This "odd-coupling" join forces to create a "power-house duo" that will be sure to set hearts on fire and maybe even challenge the way you feel about many things.

Four girls, four voices, four pairs of matching underwear...
The Nymphs take a step back to the 1940s, echoing the sass and class of the Andrews Sisters. With a mix of old covers and originals, cheeky banter and a fine display of frills, they offer a performance which is part comedy, part nostalgia, and a whole lot of Nymph!
Late 2009 they caught the eye of ABC's music quiz show, Spicks and Specks, who invited the girls on to the program. The episode is screening on WEDNESDAY 10th FEBRUARY at 8:30pm so TUNE IN FOLKS!!

MISSING SUPERGIRL: We are a band..a very new band..still shiny, some parts in original packaging. We love what we do. We do it to keep your ears happy and feet tappin'. We are all missing Supergirl, and we want her back.
Band Members: Selina Jenkins vox, guitar: Sarah Holmes bass: Emily Shaw drums.
