| FRIDAY 17TH |
Six of Australia’s rowdiest punk bands form a united front in the fight against cancer. No Credit, Subject To Change, Doomsday Saints, Public Liability, Flangipanis (QLD) and the Murderballs take over the Johnston St venue from 8pm. Entry is $10 – all door proceeds go directly to Challenge, supporting kids with cancer (www.challenge.org.au).
Each year in Victoria there more than 200 children are diagnosed with cancer and a further 1000 are receiving ongoing treatment. The pain, fear and anxiety that follow affect not only the children, but their families and loved ones as well.
The role of Challenge is to ensure that children and families are provided with continual support, from the time of diagnosis, through the treatment period and beyond. By implementing ongoing, tailored experiences for members, Challenge is able to make life fun and happy for kids during the greatest challenge of their young lives.
All Challenge activities promote family unity and encourage the formation of support networks, a vital component in the healing process.
Visit www.challenge.org.au for further information about the vital work of Challenge, and help them to support their families by attending this very special event.

|
| FRIDAY 24TH |
THE GHOST ECHOES started in early 2006 when Helge Rathjens(Guitar) and Dave Rogan(Bass/Vocals) first met at a punkrock show in Auckland. With a few line up changes and playing various shows, the band went on to record their first E.P "Open Wounds" in late 2007.
After two North Island tours and some international support slots playing with Smoke or Fire, Death in the Family, Nine Iron and Horace Pinker. THE GHOST ECHOES started to build up momentum.
In the beginning of 2009, after the departure of Screech and Lanae, Helge and Dave decided to continue with their song writing and were shortly joined by their two good friends Everdt Venecourt(Vocals) and Greg Judd(Drums). The band went to the Yorkstreet studio in Auckland by the end of 2009 to record the self-titeled,second E.P.
In July 2010 "New Blood" Zack Winter moved up from Wellington to join G/E on the second guitar and finally completed the line up. "Welcome on board brother!"

Anna's Go-Go Academy!
|
| 'Every Tuesday, Every Week' |
Shake it like a Polaroid picture at Anna's Go-Go Academy!
Go-Go was the number one dance style of the 60s, and now it’s back and more fun than ever. Anna’s Go-Go Academy is Australia’s premier go-go school, and runs weekly one-hour classes.
Anna's go-go classes are great fun, an excellent cardio workout, and have been described as "inspiring", "a retro hit parade…everything from Elvis's Jailhouse Rock to AC/DC's Jailbreak", and a "high energy dance party with the hostess with the mostest".
What can you expect from Anna's Go-Go Classes?
From the cheeky moves of Ann-Margret and Elvis in Viva Las Vegas, to the super cool stylings of John Travolta and Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, students will learn the exciting art of go-go dancing in a fun and social environment. No dance experience is necessary, and in every class, students will learn a range of fun moves they can use straight away on the dance floor.
Go-go dancing is high-energy and is a great way to lose weight, but most of all it’s great fun! Bring your mates! Bring your mum! Do the Pulp Fiction, The Pony and The Ski at your next party and impress your friends with your knowledge of these classic and exciting moves!
