Black Lava + Writhing double album launch featuring Earth Rot + Guests!

'Soul Furnace' from Black Lava is out November 25 via Season of Mist records, the bands debut record and foray into the metal world. Conjuring old school influences such as Satyricon, At the Gates and Pantera - Black Lava retain an old school metal feel with a modern groovy edge.

Formed in 2013 - Earth Rot have been a powerhouse in Australia and worldwide metal for many years, and this marks their return to the Victorian stage. Earth Rot deliver a crushing brand of blackened death metal. Their most recent release, 'Black Tides of Obscurity', was released in 2020 via Season of Mist records.

'Of Earth and Flesh' from Writhing is out September 23rd, via Everlasting Spew Records. This is also their debut album, with having released Eternalised in Rot EP back in 2020, the band have forged themselves as an up + coming powerhouse within in the death metal world.

Rounding out the night will be local brutal death metal legends Deliquesce, along with heavy locals Sufferance opening.
