SONIC GRAVY - MELBOURNE

Heading up this heaving mini festival will be none other than Melbourne punk ‘n’ rollers Captives. Fresh off the release of their latest album ‘RETURN TO MARS’, Captives take no prisoners with their immersive and explosive sonic stylings - and a Captives show is something all lovers of riotous good times absolutely have to knock off their live music bucket list. Also leading the fray this October will be Northern Rivers rock rapscallions Hammers, bringing their signature blend of spitfire punk, metal, blues, stoner rock and beyond to proceedings. A band who will nail you to the wall with their riffage and potent performances, get set for some hulking Hammer(s) time at Bendigo Hotel when this scorching quartet takes the stage.

Joining Captives and Hammers on the day will be Sydney sludge-grunge purveyors Astrodeath, Hobart punk heavies Knife Hands, as well as the hook-tastic, party-starting antics of Melbourne’s Raging Hormones. But wait, there’s more! Making the trek south are Sydney’s electro-rockers Start Your Own Cult, Brisbane’s full-throttle hardcore/punk export Deadyet?, alongside Japanese garage punk trio Akabane Vulgars, turgid Melbourne rockers The Stripp and local quartet Shoes Off House rounding out this killer day of 100% pure sonic gravy.

Strap in for an afternoon and evening of riffs, beats, breakdowns, and more when some of Australia and Japan’s finest roll up for Sonic Gravy this October; this is one tasty recipe for rock, punk and metal that you definitely won’t want to miss.
